NSML participated at the recently concluded 16th International Maritime Ports and Terminals Conference and EXPO (NIMPORT 2023), which held from Tuesday 28th – Thursday 30th November 2023 at the NIGAV Centre Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos. The annual event creates an all-inclusive platform that covers activities in ports, terminals, freight stations, logistics, free zones, warehousing, etc.
The company received “The Most Innovative Blue Economy Award” being the only Eco-friendly operating terminal in Sub-Sahara Africa. The NLNG Terminal in Bonny Island is Ecoport PERS certified; and the certification attests to the compliance of the operations at the terminal with leading environmental management practices and the promotion a
sustainable environment at the Terminal by reducing carbon footprint. The conference was attended by various stakeholders across the maritime industry.
