NSML was a major sponsor of the 2024 Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) conference, which was held on Thursday, August 22, at the Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos State. The event’s theme centered on maritime finance and insurance for vessel acquisition and construction.
The MD/CEO of NSML, Abdulkadir K. Ahmed, delivered the keynote address. His address focused on the importance of regulations, standards, and competence in raising finance for vessel acquisition and construction. He stressed the need to adopt comprehensive approach that goes beyond financing to engender sustainable growth, safety, and operational excellence in the Nigerian maritime industry.
The event was well attended by stakeholders from Government, Maritime Regulators, the Organised Private Sector, the Financial Services industry and the Media.
