NSML, in conjunction with the Oil Producers Trade Section (OPTS), formally kicked off the Marine Accelerator Program (MAP) at the NSML Maritime Centre of Excellence (MCOE) in Bonny Island, Rivers State on Monday, May 27 2024.
The Marine Accelerator Program (MAP), a pioneering initiative conceived and developed by NSML & MCOE in conjunction with OPTS, and supported by the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board (NCDMB), is dedicated to harnessing training and capacity development to transform the Nigerian oil & gas marine support sector. The program is committed to delivering innovative training solutions, expertise, and resources to support the development of a highly skilled and agile maritime workforce and provide effective support the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry for generations to come.
Key stakeholders in the maritime industry attended the official kick off ceremony in Bonny Island, Rivers State.
