NSML HSEQ/DPA/CSO Department provides end-to-end cutting-edge professional support for effective identification and management of Risks along the entire NSML Shipping and Maritime value chain including driving compliance with all international regulations.

Departmental activities cover;
1. Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) elements
2. Designated Person Ashore (DPA) elements
3. Company Security Officer (CSO) elements

Responsibilities and Offering includes

Develop and maintain up-to-date functional stand-alone or Integrated Management Systems (IMS) meeting the requirements of industry standards including; ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 5001, ISO 31000, ISM code, and ISPS code

Initiate, plan and implement strategies for effective and efficient Health, Safety Security, Environment & Quality (HSSEQ) management for shipping and Marine companies

Monitor routine HSSEQ related matters and design/implement HSEQ campaigns and programmes for incident and injury free operations in terminals, LNG/LPG operations, Marine craft operations Shipbuilding, ship repair/refits, etc.

Carry out internal and statutory audits, accident investigation, Reviews, Inspections and other compliance/assurance programmes for marine and shipping companies

Administration of ship registration, certification, survey, and maintenance of statutory documentation

Shipping and Marine Emergency Response Support.

Manage voyage security risk assessment process, maintaining active contact with internal and external specialist security focal points
