NSML Fleet Management provides Bonny Gas Transport (BGT), a subsidiary of NLNG, with Ship Management Services.
We manage and operate BGT owned LNG vessels to the highest possible standards of safety, reliability and efficiency. NSML Technical Management ensures that BGT owned fleet vessels are operated in compliance with Flag State, Port State, National/International legislative requirements, as well as to best industry standards. Through our operations, we provide crucial logistics support in the NLNG value chain, by ensuring timely shipping of cargo deliveries to NLNG customers worldwide.
Our Fleet Management services consist of thirteen (13) core Ship Management Business Elements.
The Ship Management Team operates a total of eleven LNG vessels, trading from Bonny, Nigeria to America, Asia and Europe. Fleet Vessels are operated under Document of Compliance (DOC) issued by the Bermudan and Bahamian Governments.
The Company Integrated Safety Management System incorporates the elements of IMO Resolution, A 741. (18) “International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ship and for Pollution Prevention (International Safety Management (ISM) Code)”, with the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 standards. NSML obtained ISO9001 certification in 2014.
NSML Ship Management has substantial experience with new build projects having been involved with delivery of various new build vessels from design stage, through construction, to final delivery. The team is presently involved with the construction of six new LNG vessels. These new builds vessels are fitted with the new DFDE (Dual Fuel Diesel Electric) technology.
We also maintain an up-to-date Shipping Emergency Response Plan with an Emergency Response Team to ensure effective procedures and resources are in place to respond to shipping emergencies on a 24hr/day, 365 days/year basis.
We have dedicated team and a robust procurement system for provision of cost effective Procurement Services for fleet vessels. Thus achieving our objective of maximum cost efficiency for our customers.
